Traditional West African Dance
Traditional West African dance is a vibrant expression of community, culture, and storytelling. Rooted in centuries-old customs, it connects movement with music, rhythm, and ritual. Each dance reflects the history, values, and daily life of the people — from harvest celebrations and rites of passage to spiritual ceremonies and social gatherings.
Drumming is central to the dance, with live percussion guiding the tempo and energy of each movement.
